Russian Retail Solutions

Retail Solutions is the trade name of OOO Organizatsia Torgovli, a Russian limited company mainly concentrating on retail promotion through conferences, seminars and guest training courses. The company acts as an organizer and co-organizer of a few annual international conferences of national significance – “Retail: worldwide experience and Russian features”, “The concept of a Russian Shopping Center”, “Investments in Trade”, as well as a cycle of ten seminars on “Self – Service retail organization” and many others. Moreover, it is responsible for some complex development projects for shopping centers and other big retail outlets.

Retail Solutions has also developed and put in practice a few concepts of retail chains (supermarkets, discount and department stores) for Moscow and regions. It has contributed to some important development projects and publishes the only Russian specialized magazine “MALL” on retail real estate and chain technologies.

ZAO Kordon (close joint-stock company), Russian Exhibition Company

For than eleven years Kordon has been successfully organizing and holding international exhibitions in Moscow and it’s already earned the reputation of a reliable partner. Our exhibitions are held at Moscow’s best sites: Expocenter, Gostiny Dvor and Crocus City, a new up-to-date exhibition complex.

The main reason why Kordon Co. is so successful is that it always meets the demands and needs of the exhibition attendees. Themes for all exhibition projects are always developed in close cooperation with experts in the respective fields, what provides a high level of an event and makes our every exhibition highly interesting and useful for the specialists concerned.

A long – term effective cooperation with foreign exhibition companies, associations of producers and retail representatives, attracting of foreign companies for attending our events enables all our exhibitions to have an international status. We always think of expanding of our exhibitions’ geography, as well as we look for new partners and maintain a close contact with foreign exhibition companies.

The Russian Council of Shopping Centers


The Russian Council of Shopping Centers unites a number of companies specialized in construction, management and shopping center exploitation, retail and catering services. Thereby it helps set up and develop latest-day retail formats on the national consumer market.

Since it was founded, the Council has organizes the following conferences: “Concept of Modern Shopping Centers”, “Investments in Trade” and “Organization of territorially-distributed retail chains”. A group of Russian experts attended the ICSC conferences in Warsaw in 2002 and in Budapest in 2003, having visited shopping centers in Poland, Germany and Hungary. A joint exhibition stand has been organized by our industry representatives at the MAPIC annual forum (France) dedicated to trade investments. The Council also appeared as a co-organizer of the 5th International Conference “Retail in Russia. World experience, Russian trends” and the 3rd International World Retail Forum. It has participated in a number of professional exhibitions. The Council publishes Vestnik, an electronic newsletter. It stays in close contact with the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Economy and Moscow’s City Government. Advisory Board of the Council has contributed to developing of Moscow city shopping centers standards. The Council runs marketing researches so far.

The Mission of the Russian Council of Shopping Centers

To aid the promotion, expansion on the Russian market and improvement of large retail enterprises, which are based on leasehold relations – the Shopping Centers.

To provide Shopping Centers as institutions aimed at comprehensive meeting of consumers’ demands, and thus affecting directly the social and economic situation in their regions, with strong position on the market.
