Alexey Pshenichnyi (“Vysshaya Liga”, Krasnodar) defined the market of existing trade premises in South Federal District as the “landlord’s market”. Lack of quality premises leads to such negative occurrences as lack of subsequent responsibility for delays of trade centres opening, low level of service in managing companies and non-transparency in advertising budget spending. The ways of solving present situation include creating tenants’ pools, presenting joint marketing and operating requirements, independent management of small-size objects, independent restructuring and building of new premises |

Comparative analysis of net presence conditions in Russian and European trade centres presented by Yevgeniy Tsivin (Edmins) prompted significant interest in the audience. Based on data gathered in Helsinki, Prague, Paris and Moscow he reflected the world trends and evaluated the state of the Russian market. The speaker made two warning conclusions. Firstly, the existing fragmentation among trade center projects participants and their lack of understanding of joint nature of their interests is very likely to lead to serious shakes of the market. Secondly, a regulatory function of state is required in the area of evaluation of market capacity |
