 On behalf of the Committee for consumer market development of the Russian Chamber of Trade and Industry and on behalf of the Moscow International Business Association I am greeting all participants of the IV International exhibition “MALL-2007”.The exhibition is a main event of the year for members of trade real estate market, the professionals from Russian and many international companies. Every year real estate market in Russia is steadily growing what is reflected in new development all over country, in projects quality, in their architectural value as well as in number of “MALL-2007” participants. We wish all participants a success and good partnerships. Alexander Borisov,  The Russian Council of Shopping Centers welcomes all participants of the IV International exhibition “MALL-2007”.Today, “MALL” is a special exhibition with a great number of new development projects and companies focused on management and marketing of new shopping centers. I am pleased to note that a floor space of 2007 exhibition has expanded twice as much compared to the last year. More companies use an opportunity to promote their business projects at this professional forum. The number of international participants is growing. It is important that this year the “MALL” has been supported by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the ICSC representatives are working at the joint exhibit. I have a vision that the exhibition will be an opportunity for reliable business cooperation, mutually beneficial contracts and a long-run partnership. Oleg Voytsekhovskiy,  Dear ladies and gentleman, We are glad to greet you at one of the major events of 2007, the annual exhibition "MALL", which traditionally unites the basic players of the market for commercial real estate. We are pleased to observe a growing interest to this event by Russian and international companies - investors, developers, consultants, retail businesses, which successfully work in this segment and promote its further development and prosperity. The international consulting company Knight Frank comes out as consultant and agent of high-class real estate in Russia and Ukraine. The representative offices in St. Petersburg and Kiev, where there observed a dynamic development of all segments of real estate market, considerably expanded the geography of our activity. The outstanding knowledge of the specific character of Russian and Ukrainian markets makes it possible to predict an optimistic scenario of development in the long-term outlook. Our confidence in the investment of commercial real estate in Russia and Ukraine today is well supported by western business- associations. The volume of foreign investments into this segment increases with each year. In Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other cities of Russia, and also in Ukraine there appeared a number of increasingly qualitative projects, which are of enormous interest not only for the Russian, but also for the western investors. We sincerely hope that the dynamic development of market will contribute to professional growth of all participants and establishment of successful commercial centers all over Russia and Ukraine. I would like to emphasize that this exhibition is a professional forum, because it is created by professionals and for the professionals of development, retail and consulting. It is pleasant to note that the numbers of its participants substantially increased in the years of conducting exhibition. As a permanent participant in the exhibition of "MALL", we know it attracts a huge interest in those who make the first steps in the business and in distinguished companies. This confirms that the exhibition is necessary. Indeed, at present this is a main space for exchange of information and ideas as well as expanding business connections and presentation of new projects. But the key issue is that this is powerful pulse for our general development. It's no secret to anyone, that markets for commercial real estate, including in the regions, are successfully growing.
